The meaning of patent infringement
April 3rd, 2008 | by admin |Whenever some individual or a firm indulges in, copying or making your own invention with even a slight modification in it then it is called a patent infringement . Nothing closely resembling another’s mark should be used; otherwise it becomes a patent infringement. Patents enjoy a somewhat stronger and geographically broader protection unlike trademarks and service marks. Therefore patent infringement automatically qualifies for tougher penal action. It so happens that people ready for new businesses inadvertently get so closer and into copying. But yet they keep going until serious trouble arises. So it is important to make a search and study of patents before starting a new venture.
