September 19th, 2008 | by admin |There are many times in the hair industry, when new styles come out or a new technique in color comes out but there may only be one or two people in your shop that knows this information. The knowledge management of this information will help the whole staff in the shop because what if you a customer that comes in and requests that particular technique or style and the one or two people that know how to do it, are off for the day. It would be nice to go to a database or an instruction book and let thins customer have what they ask for. Even small companies like hair salons could benefit from setting up a knowledge management toolkit and collaboratively managing their business knowledge.
