Employment Background Checks
October 5th, 2008 | by admin |I used to work as a corporate recruiter and I can’t tell you how many potential employees never got hired once we got the results of their employee background check back.
The company routinely ran fingerprint, employment history, and credit checks on all applicants.
Many employees who “aced” the interviews and impressed us with their professionalism ended up being fired a month or two later when their employment background checks eventually turned up a criminal history. Until I worked for that company, I had absolutely no idea that so many people had brushes with the law.
But I did learn that if I ever have a business of my own, I will definitely run background checks.
