In fact, some companies are offering cash back if you transfer from cable to a DSL account. The local provider in my area is offering this type of deal if I do a high speed internet upgrade. I checked out all the details and the plan looks pretty good. There is more bandwidth than the old one and I am not locked into a term contract.
