No Smoke
November 21st, 2008 | by admin |If you are building your own computer, or just upgrading it, then you will have to change some or all of the componants. You may have looked up all the specifications and reviews of each of the componants that you want to change or replace. Some thought generally goes into the selection of each componant. You do, of course, want to put the better item into your computer. However, the one item that often gets neglected, is the computer power supplies, and so the overall upgrade is poor. Some people will put the biggest power supply into their new design, but this is not always the best thing to do. So, in order to match your new system to its power supply, you should use a computer power supply calculator, as this can give a better suited power supply for your new system. If the power supply is too small, then you will not achieve the results that you had hoped for. If the power supply is too big, then you have wasted some of your money, although you now have some extra power, should you want to upgrade any componants again.
