Swayze Battles Pancreatic Cancer
January 28th, 2009 | by admin |Most people are now aware that veteran movie actor Patrick Swayze has been battling Pancreas Cancer. He just recently wrapped up production for a new television series for A&E, “The Beast.” He has already been battling the debilitating illness for over a year. During the filming of the new cop drama, he had to put in twelve hour workdays, and do painful and fatiguing chemotherapy sessions during the weekends. He refused to take painkilling drugs, for fear they would negatively affect his performance for the fledgling series. Although the odds of survival for advanced stage Pancreatic cancer are only a few years, Swayze remains hopeful.
