What is Diabetes?

More and more people over the world are getting diabetes which prompts the question “what is diabetes?” Its a disorder in your body due to the insulin which is produced by the pancreas cannot function effectively to remove the glucose from blood or in some cases the pancreas stops producing insulin. There are two types of diabetes- type 1 and type 2. In type 1 diabetes the body produces no insulin and in type 2 the body produces insulin but cannot be utilized. There is another type of diabetes which is common during pregnancies is called gestational diabetes which disappears once the baby is born. There are some symptoms that one can feel during diabetes. They are excessive urination, more and more thirst, tiredness, lose of weight or weight gain, erectile dysfunction and others.
