We invite friends over, and we sit around the outdoor gas fireplace.

Our friends would come visit us at our campsite, and we would make mountain pies and roast hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire. We sold our camper after my husband became injured and could no longer work. Without his income, we couldn't afford to make the payment on the camper and pay the rental on our camp site. Our children knew how much we missed being able to go camping, so they installed an outdoor gas fireplace for us in our backyard. We invite friends over, and we are still able to do the things we used to do. Even though we miss camping, it is as if we are camping right in our own backyard.
