October 7th, 2008 | by admin |Even at high school I preferred woodwork to sewing, though after I got married and starting having kids, I never seemed to find the time. Or rather the hammer and the pliers. These days, now that the kids have grown up a little and are a lot less of a burden, I find myself back with my hobby, and doing running repairs around the house. My husband and the kids really support me, and I am happiest when we are all working together on one of my schemes. Right now we are building a bench for the front porch, and one of the neighbors said that when we finish it, we can build one for them too. Might be the basis of a good home business. You never know.
