Health cost problems - Get affordable Health care today
May 26th, 2008 | by admin |Today in America, many more of its population is in need of affordable health care. Some employers for hardworking employees have had to cut back on some of the health care for everyone because of the rising costs and working with a budget. Before this year, I had great health care with my company but it has reduced this year so I know this is the reason. It was quite sudden although my employer said he had been looking into changing our health car company because our current one was just too costly. To make the system fair to everyone, the health care provider would need to change. I suppose some people are better off and perhaps I shouldn't sound ungrateful. To some extent I do agree, but their search for another provider now costs me double the money from my paychecks to have my husband and daughter on my policy. So basically in order for all the employees to benefit where I work, I have to pay double but my pay remains the same so I am actually taking home less. From what I have seen, this new company we are with is not in the same league as the old one even though I still seem to have a reasonably good plan. In my opinion, the company's search for affordable health care not only left all of us with a significant cut in our paychecks, but higher co-pays and more out-of-pockets expenses from us. You see, my previous plan paid my entire hospital bill just over 3 years ago when I had my little boy. This new plan, under similar circumstances however, would personally cost me in excess of 5,000 dollars. This figure does not take into account additional amounts I must pay out of my salary. We are now seeing an increasing number of companies creating affordable health care plans. For workers in companies without health care plans and single mums for instance, this is a God send. Unfortunately, there are always a few that want to ruin it for the rest and this system is prone to misuse. For many people desperately trying to improve their situation these affordable health care plans are a life-line but to others they are just an easy option. We often forget who is ultimately paying for these schemes; us, the taxpayer. It is true to say that my employer is very happy because he found distinct benefits to finding a different health plan program. Many of the workers found themselves subsidizing the company's desire to save money yet still provide a scheme by ensuring that they paid in their paychecks. In the long term we really need to do something in America to help those in need find affordable health care. A coffee water filter can be beneficial in lowering the development of diseases too.
